The Glass Slipper Spa offers LightSheer™ laser hair removal as a permanent solution that removes unwanted hair faster, with less discomfort and more reliable results. It can be used on any hair-bearing part of your body. The most popular areas of treatment are the abdomen, bikini area, back, underarms, legs and face.
How does it work?
The laser sends a beam of highly concentrated light that is absorbed by the pigment in the hair follicles. The heat singes the base of the follicles to impede future growth. During the procedure, the upper layer of the skin is compressed and soothed with the special cooling handpiece.
How many treatments will it take?
At any given moment, each hair is in one of three different phases – active growth, regressive or resting states. Because laser hair removal treats hairs in the active growth state, it will take approximately four to six sessions to catch each hair in this phase. We space each treatment four to twelve weeks apart, depending on the location of the hair removal.
Is it safe?
Laser hair removal is non-invasive and removes hair without damaging the pores and structures of the skin.
How painful is it?
Our clients find laser hair removal mild to moderately uncomfortable. A topical anesthetic cream is available to ease any discomfort.

How do they work?
Radiesse® facial fillers
Calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres are suspended in a gel and injected into your skin. CaHA is a biomaterial with similar characteristics to your bones and teeth, so it is naturally compatible with your body. The injection remains soft and takes on a similar texture to the surrounding tissues. The result is that your facial features receive a boost, giving you a more youthful appearance.
Restylane® lip augmentation
Hyaluronic acid, a natural substance that gives firmness to the skin and lubricates the joints, is injected into the lips. Because hyaluronic acid attracts and binds to water molecules, it helps your lips maintain volume and fullness. How many treatments will it take?
Radiesse® facial fillers
Some clients reach their appearance goals after just one treatment. Others may need a touch up. The CaHA microspheres will eventually be metabolized by your body, but many clients enjoy a correction that lasts from several months to a few years. Because effects generally last six months, you will likely want to schedule treatments on a semi-annual basis.
Is it safe?
Treatments are safe, but some clients experience temporary redness, swelling and tenderness.
How painful is it?
Some clients experience a temporary sting at the point of the injection. An anesthetic cream can help ease your discomfort.

The number of IPL™ treatments required depends on several factors, including skin tone, the extent of pigmented and vascular lesions and the degree of sun damage that exists. The number of treatments necessary can be discussed at your consultation.

How painful is it?
People who have received this treatment compare it to the snapping of a rubber band. An anesthetic cream is available to ease any discomfort.

Microdermabrasion

The Glass Slipper Spa uses Diamond™ microdermabrasion technology to enhance your facial glow.
How does microdermabrasion work?
A diamond crystal hand piece, with a vacuum attachment, exfoliates the top layer of your skin. By removing dead skin cells and stimulating blood flow, the deeper layers of the skin produce new skin cells, collagen and fibroblasts. The result is a more youthful and smoother appearance.
Is it safe?
Microdermabrasion has become popular because of the absence of complications and low risk.
How painful is it?
Microdermabrasion is relaxing and can be done with no "down time". The treatment is followed by a terreus masque application to soothe and detoxify the skin. Many people notice a change in their skin texture after just one treatment.
